Fried Frank Wins Bid to Dismiss Former Secretary's Bias Suit

The suit, one of four brought against Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson after the firm laid off scores of staffers in 2008, failed to establish any proof that the plaintiff had suffered discrimination based on her age, gender, or disability, a Manhattan federal district court judge ruled late last week.

State of Hawaii Agrees to Pay $15.4 Million to Settle Suit Over Gibson Dunn Partner's 2006 Hiking Death

Elizabeth Warke Brem was a partner in Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher's Orange County office, when she and a cousin died in a hiking accident on the island of Kauai.
