The Churn: Lateral Moves and Promotions in The Am Law 200

New Orleans firm Adams and Reese has made a big move in Florida, taking over the Sarasota and St. Petersburg offices of Fort Lauderdale firm Ruden McClosky. With the acquisition, Adams and Reese added 23 lawyers, boosting its head count to 280 attorneys in 12 offices.

Former Ruden partners James Dickson in St. Petersberg and John Dart in Sarasota will lead the new offices. For a full list of Ruden McClosky lawyers moving to Adams and Reese, read the firm's announcement.

Michael Kelly is the newest litigation partner at Hogan & Hartson. Kelly, formerly counsel at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, joins Hogan & Hartson’s D.C. office.

McDermott Will & Emery has recruited a partner from IP firm Darby & Darby. Michael Keller is now a partner in McDermott’s Miami office practicing patent law.

Family law practitioner Donald Schuck is leaving Bronstein, Van Veen & Schuck to become a partner in Pryor Cashman's New York office.

Former Dickstein Shapiro partner Eli Curi is joining Sonnenschein Nath & Rosenthal's New York office as a partner in the corporate practice.

Brenda Dieck is leaving O’Melveny & Myers for White & Case's L.A. and New York offices. She will be a partner handling finance work.
