Dechert Hires Four in Moscow After Partner Loss
Posted by Richard Lloyd
After losing a senior corporate lawyer from its Moscow office on Tuesday, Dechert announced Thursday that it has hired a counsel and two associates in Russia; a third new associate will split her time between London and the Russian capital.
Oxana Peters, a litigation specialist, has joined as counsel from Salans along with former Salans associates Timur Djabbarov, an IP litigation and real estate specialist, and litigator Yuri Makhonin. Addtionally, corporate associate Olga Watson joins Dechert from the London office of Chadbourne & Parke; she will split her time between London and Moscow. The new hires bring the total lawyer count for Dechert in the four-month old Moscow office to 16.
Dechert's continued efforts to strengthen the Moscow office come after the firm lost corporate partner Konstantin Konstantinov earlier this week. Konstantinov is returning to Chadbourne, the firm he left last May to join Dechert. He was part of a three-partner team to leave Chadbourne for Dechert last spring.
