Judge Okays California Town's Exit from Bankruptcy

Vallejo, California, has spent the past three years submerged in bankruptcy. With help from Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe, the town has now received preliminary court approval of a plan aimed at getting it back above water.

Alabama's Jefferson County Holds Off on Bankruptcy Filing
