Associates Survey 2009: Thinning the Pack

Posted by Ed Shanahan

In our annual midlevel survey, 6,101 third-, fourth-, and fifth-year associates from 165 firms gave us a glimpse of their working lives.

Layoffs were firms' preferred method of cutting payroll costs, according to the survey responses. Reports of other cost-cutting measures were rare. (Click the image to enlarge.)
